CELEBRATE BASTILLE DAY

The Consul Honoraire de France for New Mexico, Mr. Perry Bendicksen, invites the French and Francophile community to join in celebrating Bastille Day, on Saturday, July 12, from 5:00-8:00pm at the Albuquerque Press Club. Please bring a favorite potluck dish to share. The Press Club has a bar and will be offering wine for $4.25 - $5.25 per glass. Other beverages will also be available for purchase. Join us for an evening of food, wine and camaraderie on the large front porch of the Press Club overlooking the shady trees and green lawn of Highland Park. Please call 872-9288 by July 7 to let us know if you plan to attend and how many guests will be in your party. We look forward to seeing you!
Directions: The Albuquerque Press Club is located at 201 Highland Park Circle SE, 1 block southwest of the intersection of Central and I-25, at the west end of Highland Park. Parking is available in front of the Club and on the street.

The Alliance Française
d'Albuquerque, founded 40 years ago, is our local chapter of
the international Federation of Alliances Françaises, the largest
network of French language and cultural centers in the world. With
over 1,000 chapters established in more than 100 countries, the
Alliance Française is dedicated to promoting French language and
culture, and to fostering friendly relations between Francophones
and Francophiles of all racial, ethnic and national origins.

The Alliance School
offers courses in French on all levels taught by highly qualified
instructors who are native or near-native speakers. We offer a diverse
array of classes for adults and
children (click on the appropriate
link). Classes meet in our offices which are conveniently located
between Menaul and Candelaria at 2917 Carlisle NE, suites 207 and
110. (Please use the west entrance at the top of the stairs ñ look
for our buzzer). Minimum enrollment is 5 students; maximum enrollment
is 10 students. The textbooks used in each course are available
for purchase in our office.
